The hotel "Arkonchi" came into operation in 1992 as one of the first private inns in Uzbekistan. The hotel is situated in the inner city Ichan-Kala among well known architectural delights such as Ata-Darvaza, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Kaltar Minaret and Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. The hotel has a cozy courtyard arranged in national style and a small garden with decorative plants. A fascinating eastern aivans with traditional woodworking, low tables and topchans (trestle-beds) for pleasant outdoor rest and tea drinking and a strategically positioned balcony are entirely at guests' service. A large, cozy eastern styled restaurant decorated with antique carpets and article of clothing.
