On this page you find brief description of 15
best hotels of Tashkent. Most of them are relatively small cozy private hotels
of B&B pattern.
Location
In reality, there is no clear downtown area in Tashkent. Therefore most of the
inns rightly assert that their location near to downtown. "Elena", "Grand-Orzu",
"Orzu", "Rovshan", "Viva", "Elite", "Raddus-JSS", "Grand-Mir", "Glen-Eden"
and "Miracle" hotels are located in
populous and popular residential areas truly not far away from the urban core
and airport.
"Tashkent Palace Hotel" is located in the
immediate region of government and business activity opposite the
Alisher
Navoi Theater in the neighborhood with Department Store.
The hotel "Poytaht" is located near
"Broadway," a walking street stretching between Mustakillik Mayodony (Independence
Square) and Amir Timur Hiyebony (
Amir
Timur Square).
"Dedeman" hotel - nearer than every hotel
to the most expensive Alay bazaar, where you can find a large selection of
oriental delicacies. It's an easy walk from here to
Sheihantaur.
Facilities
All hotels have shower or bath, toilet, TV set and telephone in the rooms;
conference hall and restaurant as common amenities. Most of the hotels have a
cozy courtyard.
"Tashkent Palace Hotel", "Poytaht", "Radisson SAS",
"Dedeman" and "Grand-Mir" hotels provide with a wide spectrum of services:
various restaurants and bars, beauty saloons, swimming-pools and fitness
centers.
“Glen-Eden” has a fully equipped children's play room with tennis table and a
playing ground outside.
Communications
“Dedeman”, “Elena”, “Glen-Eden”, “Grand-Mir”, “Tashkent Palace Hotel”, “Poytaht”, “Radisson
SAS” and “Viva” have available a long-distance phone and Internet access (with
guest's notebook) from guest-rooms. All other hotels provide long-distance
telephone service and Internet access at Reception.
Safety and legality
All hotels, with the exception of "Raddus-JSS" are licensed enterprises. The
hotel "Raddus JSS" is very new that’s why it has not a license yet.
The general rule is you must be registered within 72 hours of entering the
country. Every tourist as a rule must be registered in a hotel. So make sure
that you receive registration in hotel where you stay. Every licensed hotel must
unconditionally provide you with registration.
"Elena", "Glen-Eden", “Dedeman”, “Grand-Mir”, “Tashkent
Palace Hotel”, “Poytaht” and
"Grand-Orzu Elite" hotels have 24/7 security service. "Elena" hotel also has
available secure parking.
Prices
Most expensive of listed hotels are “Dedeman”, “Tashkent Palace Hotel” and “Poytaht”.
"Grand-Mir" hotel offers same services, but for lower prices. On the whole,
prices in other inns vary from $25 to $30 per person including breakfast.

Three big pyramids of "Chorvoq Oromgohi" resort are located on the left not steep shore of Charavak reservoir (Charavak Sea) in Tien Shan Mountains. The reservoir is formed by debouchments of three mountain rivers: Pskem, Koksu and Chatkal. When the reservoir is filled to its full capacity, the water nears to 2 billions cubic meters, the area of its surface is 40 square kilometers, and the length of coastline is about 70 km. "Chorvoq Oromgochi" complex is an all-the-year-round resort. The sandy beach with its length of 800 meters is located close to the hotel's buildings.
